Check Your Eligibility

Applicants to the program must meet eligibility requirements to be considered. Please review the following requirements before applying.     

  • You must already be an admitted student or graduate from a U.S. college or university

  • You have a minimum GPA of 3.0

  • You have completed Principles of Accounting I and II

  • You have successfully completed or will complete Intermediate Accounting I by the end of this coursework

Apply
Applications are considered on a rolling basis.  Please submit your application as soon as possible. A complete application includes the following:

  1. Submitted online application to Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC). TNCC application process:

    • Begin an application by creating an account or signing in with Google or Facebook

    • Students that have previously attended or been employed at Virginia community college will need to know their EMPLID Number (Student ID Number)

    • For students that have a Student ID Number, at the end of the first page of the application, you will be asked if you have ever attended or been employed at a Virginia Community College. Answer “Yes” and input your student ID number to proceed

    • Under “Your Education” tab, students should select “Yes” for “I plan to pursue a degree, certificate, or diploma at Thomas Nelson Community College"

    • Select the program “CSC/Accounting & Financial Analytics I”

    • Contact 757-825-2800 if you need assistance retrieving your Student ID Number or the application process

  2. Submitted eligibility - scholarship application to iat4ss. Complete eligibility - scholarship application and email additional documents below to info@iat4ss.org

    • Citizenship or permanent resident verification – copy of Birth certificate, Naturalization certificate, passport or the front and back of the permanent resident card

    • Copy of filed FASFA

    • Resume

    • Most recent transcript (unofficial)

    • Professor recommendation (OPTIONAL)

    • Photo (OPTIONAL)
